A Little More About Us
Delaware Commute Solutions is dedicated to reducing the number of single occupancy vehicles (SOVs) on Delaware’s highways. Delaware Commute Solutions aims to reduce congestion, improve air quality and lower vehicle emissions on Delaware’s roadways. We assist employers and commuters with finding solutions and using alternative modes of transportation.
Funded with a combination of Federal Congestion, Mitigation & Air Quality (CMAQ) and State dollars, the goal of our program is to reduce the number of single occupant vehicles (SOVs) traveling on Delaware’s roadways, thus improving our air quality. Since 1997, Delaware Commute Solutions has been working in partnership with local and regional agencies towards meeting Federal Air Quality Standards.
DART’s Delaware Commute Solutions is administered by AECOM and is operated out of DART First State offices in Wilmington, Delaware. Delaware Commute Solution’s programs and services are offered to employers and colleges throughout the state and employees and adult students living or working in Delaware.
PLEASE NOTE: Delaware Commute Solutions does not have vehicles for use by program participants, nor do we pick up or transport individuals. Participants use their own vehicles for carpool purposes. Vans used for vanpooling are obtained through third party vanpool providers.
