Delaware Transit Corporation/DART First State announced today that it will join with other public transportation systems nationwide to participate in National Get On Board Day on Thursday, April 25.

After statewide Public Hearing Workshops, DART listened to its riders and the public; as a result, changes were made to the original proposal.
From Monday, April 8 to Friday, May 31, Amtrak track construction will impact SEPTA southbound train service to Fairplay Train Station at Churchmans Crossing. During this time, SEPTA will not be stopping at the Fairplay Station in the southbound direction. Bus service will be available from the Claymont and Wilmington Stations.
Delaware Transit Corporation (DTC) invites you to attend an upcoming Public Hearing Workshop to provide input and comments on proposed changes to DART Statewide Bus Services to become effective May 19, 2019.
“DART To Your Destination, Using the DART Transit APP!” is the theme for DART’s 19th Annual Poster Contest. Open to school-age children Grades 6 through 12, the contest is designed to encourage students to learn more about public transportation and its benefits, as well as the chance to see their artwork featured by DART in various advertisements, promotions, and/or displays.
Delaware Transit Corporation (DTC) launched its new brand “Heart of DART” that will be running in media statewide. The new brand features DART employees explaining how they make a difference in the lives of DART customers.
Whether it’s a bus trip to/from work, shopping, or home, public transportation doesn’t necessarily stop directly
in front of a passenger’s origin or destination. DART wants transit riders to provide input on their accessibility to and from a bus stop in Delaware.

Delaware Governor John Carney, U.S. Senator Tom Carper, and Wilmington Mayor Michael Purzycki joined Transportation Secretary Jennifer Cohan, Delaware Transit Corporation (DTC) CEO John Sisson and other state and local officials to celebrate the start of construction of the Wilmington Transit Center.
As a thank you to all veterans on Veterans Day, DART is offering free bus rides to eligible veterans.
