As the Independence Day holiday weekend approaches, DART will be operating our buses as follows:
Thursday, July 2, 2015 – DART services, both fixed route and paratransit operate regular Thursday service, with the exception of the Route 305-Beach Connection, which will operate its Friday schedule. SEPTA Wilmington/Newark line will also operate regular weekday service.
Friday, July 3, 2015 – DART services, both fixed route and paratransit, and SEPTA Wilmington/Newark line operate on a Saturday schedule. DART’s Transportation Store at the Wilmington Train Station will be open from 8 AM to 2:30 PM.
Independence Day, Saturday, July 4, 2015 – DART services, both fixed route and paratransit, will not operate, with the exception of the Resort Transit Routes 201-208, operating 7 days a week through September 13, its related paratransit services, and the Route 305- Beach Connection. SEPTA Wilmington/Newark line operates regular Saturday service. DART’s Transportation Store at the Wilmington Train Station will be closed. Train passengers are encouraged to purchase their train fares in advance. The On-Board fare can also be paid on the train, and a credit for the difference can be received at a Philadelphia SEPTA ticket counter.
Sunday, July 5, 2015 – DART and SEPTA Wilmington/Newark line operate regular Sunday service.
Ride Bus Route 12 or Wilmington Trolley Route 32 to the Shipyard Summer Concert Series Starting July 2
The sounds of live music and family entertainment return to the Riverfront as the 2015 Shipyard Summer Concert Series begins on July 2 and runs for 8 weeks. This free concert series is held on Thursday evenings from 7 PM to 8:30 PM at Dravo Plaza, which is located on Justison Street next to the Shipyard Center. So, take DART’s Bus Route 12 or the Wilmington Trolley Route 32 as the Riverfront kicks off July 2 with a New Orleans Jazz and Dixie Land Band, The Barbone Street Band.
