Delayed Opening of New North Middletown Park & Ride

The Delaware Transit Corporation (DTC) announced a delayed opening of the new North Middletown Park & Ride located near the U.S. Route 301 North Middletown Interchange (Exit 5 – Connector Road at U.S. Route 301). The new Park & Ride facility was originally scheduled to open in conjunction with the start of DART’s Spring Service Change on March 20, 2022. However, as a result of delays with construction materials, the planned opening has been pushed back to April 4.

DART’s Route 37 will provide weekday express service between downtown Middletown and Wilmington.  Route 302 will operate on weekdays from Middletown to Dover, and from Middletown to the Newark Regional Transit Center, providing a connection to the SEPTA Wilmington/Newark train service.

The Delaware Transit Corporation, a subsidiary of the Delaware Department of Transportation (DelDOT), operates DART First State. For more information, please visit www.DartFirstState.com or call 1-800-652-DART. Real-Time Bus Information and DART Pass, the mobile fare payment option, are both available on the free DART Transit App (iOS and Android).
