Delaware Transit Corporation Adjusting Bus Schedules To Connect With SEPTA Trains
Due to the disruption of the SEPTA Wilmington/Newark Line service, the Delaware Transit Corporation (DART) has implemented temporary adjustments to bus schedules for several DART routes to ensure connections with SEPTA trains currently operating on a temporary reduction of service resulting from the 120 Silverliner V commuter rail passenger cars recently taken out of service.
John Sisson, Chief Executive Officer of Delaware Transit Corporation said, “Adjustments had to be made to DART route schedules to maintain the critical link to and from Delaware, not just for Delawareans but for many regional customers of public transportation.”
To keep abreast of any changes, riders are encouraged to connect with SEPTA and DART Rider Alerts .
The adjustments to service will continue until further notice.
