I-95 Restore the Corridor Project: Traffic Pattern Change Near US 202 Interchange

Wilmington – The I-95 Restore the Corridor project will require a change in the current I-95 Southbound traffic pattern near Exit 8 (US 202). Starting on or around July 18, 2022 the two southbound lanes will merge into a single lane just prior to the US 202 southbound on-ramp to allow for drainage and traffic barrier work in the median and along the right shoulder. The traffic pattern is anticipated to remain in place through the end of September 2022. This change may increase traffic congestion in the area during peak travel periods. Motorists are encouraged to use I-495 to travel around the construction zone.
